Blamstrain is a musician/producer currently hailing from Helsinki, Finland.
Behind it is one Juho Hietala (born 1985), releasing on multiple labels
such as Merck, Narita, Sending Orbs and Suburb. The project was conceived
in 2000 with the debut CD, "Ensi" released early 2003 after some MP3 releases
on the internet. The follow-up remix album, "Blamstrain Remixed" was
released in 2005, with the second proper artist album "Disfold" coming out
the following year.

    territory of "Kavel EP" released on Thinner. Songs from 2002 to 2006.

    has apparently taken Hietela four years to be happy enough with to
    release. This love is evident in every facet of the work, making
    this one of the most immersive and intense ambient albums released
